Job Description:

Our client is a leading company that is providing managed services and innovative solutions to their customers in the Raleigh, NC area. They are seeking an experienced Vendor Services Specialist to add to their team! This position is primarily responsible for on-boarding new vendors (recovery/skip trace/field service/remarketing service/legal service agents) and maintaining vendor performance. This is a full-time, contract to hire opportunity.


  • Contracting new vendors, training vendors on our client's portal and vendor performance compliance.

  • Identifying and makes recommendations for additional areas which need more agent vendors or replacement coverage.

  • Monitors and keeps organized records of insurance, certificate renewals, cancelations and policy changes for all vendors according to company guidelines.

  • Handles compliance issues on a daily basis including but not limited to agent updates and overdue cases.

  • Handles any property damage claims as first point of contact for escalation from either Operations or Remarketing, and documents in the compliance incident manual.

  • Escalates liability claims where needed.

  • Monitors condition report completion, vendor invoicing on the portal, proper storage and release of vehicles according to guidelines.

  • Partners with Operations Management Team, Quality Services, Remarketing and Compliance to ensure all escalations are handled in a timely manner.

  • All other tasks assigned by management.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 1-3 years' experience within training, vendor negotiations and working with service level agreements.

    • Automotive insurance industry, Banking or asset resolution experience preferred.

    • Must be extremely reliable, detail oriented and customer-focused.

    • Must have excellent time management and strong communication skills.

    • Technical savvy individual that loves learning new software applications.

    • A positive personality, great phone voice, professional work ethic, dependability, loyalty and a desire to succeed for both yourself and your team.
