Job Description:

Our client, located in the Cary area, is seeking a motivated Technical Editor to add to their team! This individual will assist with the branding, publication, and surveys that our client needs to market their services. In this position, you will be working directly with the Marketing Department in a contract role.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with internal teams to develop an in-depth understanding of the products/services/projects supporting the client

  • Proofread and edit all publications (both electronic and print) intended for external use

  • Develop new materials (i.e., case studies, press releases, customer profiles & testimonials, product presentations, training material, newsletters, etc.) that are of a high quality consistent with the client's standards and are appropriate for their intended audience

  • Assist in coordinating production of the Surveyor Newsletter and other publications by compiling information and ensuring that information is provided timely, accurately, and is complete and ready for public consumption

  • Maintain and enforce company wide adherence with the client's Style Guide

  • Secure and maintain intellectual property protection through legal trademark and copyright process

  • Provide input in developing branding and establish corporate imaging as requested

  • Conduct internet searches, send correspondence and email inquiries and make calls to organizations to obtain information requested by the Marketing Department

  • Revise SOP's and controlled documents, as assigned


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
