Job Description:

Our client, in the RTP area is seeking a professional and experienced Senior Project Manager to add to their team! This individual will provide direction and support to the project team to ensure the accomplishment of agreed upon goals, objectives, and deadlines. If you are someone who is a team player with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude, then this is the position for you!


  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track project progress.

  • Lead and/or coordinate project planning, resourcing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting.

  • Communicate and track regularly on the status of project goals by ensuring project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.

  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments and resource additions.

  • Assemble and coordinate project staff while managing resource availability and allocation.

  • Report on progress of project to all stakeholders by presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.

  • Successfully manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Conduct project sponsor meetings with senior level leaders.

  • Independently manages a key aspect of one or more projects.

  • Continually monitor effectiveness of projects and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Build a business case for potential process and/or procedure solutions and complete cost/benefit analyses as support.

  • Independently recommend process improvement audits and/or operational reviews for management consideration.

  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Desired Background/Skills:


    • Experience in implementing Oracle ERP projects across the globe.

    • Knowledge in implementing Oracle Tax and Treasury is a plus.

    • Ability to lead project teams and gain consensus.

    • Ability to work with multiple solution integrators.

    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

    • Excellent knowledge and competence in related business functional area.

    • Strong accounting, math and analytical skills.

    • Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

    • Analyze solutions for the project and internal customers.

    • Ability to manage budgeting process and analyze budget performance.

    • Ability to perform well under pressure; and can adhere to deadlines.

    • Has a global business perspective.

    • Able to travel, as needed.
