Seasonal Warehouse Associate


Job Description:

Our client, based in North Raleigh, are seeking Seasonal Warehouse Associates to add to their team! The Seasonal Warehouse Associate's primarily responsibilities include all activities associated with product warehousing and storage. The primary responsibilities of the Seasonal Warehouse Associate position will be to manage inventory movement through the operations after receipt of goods is completed. The team is responsible for moving products from the new and pre-owned product receiving areas into the warehouse on a daily basis. This will be a contract, first shift Mon- Friday 8am- 5pm schedule at $11/hr.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required

  • Scan, assign and move inventory receipts to assigned warehouse bin locations

  • Update inventory systems

  • Verifies that products picked match order and completes necessary documentation

  • Consolidates, packages, and/or palatalizes products

  • Labels containers with identifying information


Education Requirements:


  • Prior warehouse experience or training is preferred but not required.

  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or some equivalent combination of education and experience.


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Prior warehouse experience or training is preferred but not required.

  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or some equivalent combination of education and experience.


Qualifications:


  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend English

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse setting

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • Prior experience in warehouse or material handling is preferred
