Job Description:

Our client, a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) manufacturer with an office in Research Triangle Park, NC, is seeking a skilled Sales Manager to add to their team! This team focuses on customer loyalty and seeks new opportunities that have high performance requirements. As part of this team, you will be pursuing interesting and challenging projects. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity that offers competitive PTO and Benefit options.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage a region of sales representatives in the United States, Canada, and/or Mexico. (US, Canada, and Mexico will be split between two managers).

  • Analyze your sales territories and hire rep firms as needed.

  • Organize sales opportunities and track progress with the reps.

  • Help train representatives on the client's products.

  • Visit customer accounts with reps.

  • Host booth at trade shows.


Education Requirements:


  • College degree or higher.


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • Significant experience selling electronics components and related technologies.

    • Experience selling liquid crystal display (LCDs) or related electronics.

    • Experience managing sales representative organizations.

    • Having an electrical engineer background will help in the sales process.

    • Ability to learn the basics of liquid crystal display technologies: TN, IPS, MVA TFTs, and OLEDs.

    • Must quickly master display characteristics: Bonding types (e.g., COB, COG), viewing directions, reflective, transmissive, transflective polarizers, luminance, backlights, etc.

    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Up to 30% travel required.
