Job Description:

Our client is a global manufacturer of power connectivity manufacturing and are searching for an experienced sales leader to drive growth for our U.S. and International operations. Based out of our Creedmoor, NC headquarters the successful candidate will have sales management experience and related electrical industry knowledge, as well as, a history of recruiting and training a highly motivated sales force


Responsibilities:


  • Build, manage and drive a team of high caliber inside sales professionals

  • Set and track sales targets

  • Meet and exceed growth targets for the identified key customers and market segments

  • Identify developmental opportunities and apply appropriate resources

  • Conduct productive, effective and succinct meetings

  • Motivate, manage, develop, and train Inside Sales professionals to drive pipeline development and revenue

  • Work with marketing to build and implement campaigns focused at various target market segments

  • Work with product management on pricing strategy and portfolio offerings

  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts

  • Track sales activity leveraging CRM (HubSpot) and defined metrics.

  • Continually assess organizational structure, sales process, and team performance

  • Implement performance management process

  • Develop relationships with key customers, distributors and influencers.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Experience in enterprise sales required, Data Center, Distributor and OEM Electronic experience preferred


Qualifications:


  • 10+ years sales experience and 2+ years management experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, team management, performance management, and analytical skills

  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of an Inside sales team

  • Experience hiring, developing and retaining talent

  • Exceptional command of sales methodologies and the ability to coach to it

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships between Project Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management

  • Excellent Microsoft Office and CRM skills and ability to work with ERP (preferably Sage X3)

  • Ability to travel when required / Valid Passport
