Job Description:

Our client, a technology and managed service provider, is looking for a Sales Director to join their team! The Sales Director is responsible for growing revenue through partners and delivering positive, quantifiable results! This is a remote position with the company headquarters based in New York, NY.


Responsibilities:


  • Establish compelling points of view about how our managed services solutions can be consumed in the customer's environment.

  • Build effective executive-level relationships with partners; identify, meet and exceed partner expectations; serve as company interlock between partners, sales, product management and operations.

  • Effectively and efficiently engage company's resources at appropriate stages in the sales cycle to advance the opportunity in the sales process.

  • Execute and drive the partner business plans including account planning, marketing, demand generation, operational cadence and communication plans to drive sales in conjunction with the partner.

  • Champion partner enablement processes and tools for efficient support and builds strategic alignment between the partner and company where the opportunity for profitable growth intersects.

  • Establish accurate plans and forecasts; prioritize efforts; measure partner sales business plan progress; coordinate activities as needed, and generate short-term results while holding a long-term perspective to maximize overall viability and partner success.

  • Drive solutions by engaging and interacting with the partner and sales teams; engage the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate solutions values; effectively and compellingly communicate capabilities to address business value needs that support the account business objectives; build demand generation in conjunction with Marketing.

  • Understand all Partner relationships and how to effectively leverage relationships.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree required

    Qualifications:


    • 10+ years experience with proven results

    • Understanding of technology, market dynamics and industry trends

    • Track record of successful achievement of assigned quotas.

    • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle with Tier 1 partners and customers; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.

    • Ability to craft a solution that meets business priorities based on client discussions.

    • Must understand managed services models.

    • Skilled at developing strong relationships with key influencers and decision makers; collaborates effectively internally and externally.

    • Able to manage conflict by finding common ground and obtaining cooperation with minimum disruption.
