Recruiting Assistant


Job Description:

Due to experiencing rapid growth, we are seeking a committed Recruiting Assistant to support our clients' hiring needs by phone screening top talent for their organization. Successful candidates will have the ability and drive to support high volume recruiting efforts for manufacturing and customer service positions. These are open ended contract positions; ideally interested candidates will be available to begin as soon as possible. Positions will operate on a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. All candidates must be flexible to work some over-time hours.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify candidates by reviewing resumes from various sources for manufacturing and customer service positions

  • Contact candidates by phone and conduct a detailed interview

  • Utilize good judgment to determine if candidate and position are a good match

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills while speaking with candidates during interviews and fellow team members

  • Meet consistent daily recruiting goals and metrics

  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to stay motivated and motivate recruiting team members

  • Maintain accurate documentation within company database


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelors or Associates preferred.

    • Customer service experience in a fast paced environment

    • Ability to work independently, as well as contributing as an effective team member

    • Capable of handling repetitive duties and maintaining a positive attitude

    • Ability to work over-time hours on a consistent basis to meet recruiting goals

    • Strong computer skills; ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and work within company database

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational skills; ability to maintain effective documentation within company database
