Project Coordinator/Dynamics 365 Consultant


Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to bring someone in with Dynamics 365 Business Central with either project management experience or who has been through a deployment that can help manage and perform all of the tasks needed to a successful Dynamics implementation. Ideally, we would bring the right candidate in immediately and retain them for 30 days (let?s say through end of May 2020) to assist with pre and post ?go live.? Having someone who is intimately familiar with the product and has experience with project management will reduce the learning curve and allow us to get this person up to speed and performing much more quickly.


Responsibilities:


  • Under the supervision of the Director of Business Technology, oversee day-to-day tasks during all phases of a client implementation and on-going support

  • Perform daily check-ins with the Director of Business Technology

  • Provide project status updates to the vendor and team members as needed

  • Perform weekly assessments determining status of current & future processes, schedule, training progress, and budget

  • Coordinate activities with the customer, 3rd party partners and other team members as necessary. The candidate would be responsible for working with external and internal resources to drive the successful completion of a project

  • Perform and/or assist with configuration, training, data conversion and project management activities

  • Participate in interface data-mapping activities to customer ERP systems and other key business systems.

  • Manage end-user training for staff and/or management to ensure a smooth installation process and minimize post-installation support requirements. Training resources provided by Microsoft and the vendor handling the migration.

  • Monitor D365 Project feedback email account, maintain customer profile and issue database using existing internal ticketing database

  • Provide documentation concerning software defects, needs recommendations, issue clarification during user acceptance testing, training, and post-go live.

  • Conduct confirmation testing, as required, to support issue resolution

  • Develop and maintain implementation documentation for internal resource use as well as customer use

  • Assist in application testing and rollout

  • Assist in Testing of applications through assigned use cases


Education Requirements:



    Desired Background/Skills:


    • Experience with Dynamics SL is a plus, but not required

    • Experience with Dynamics 365 Field Service a plus, but not required


    Qualifications:


    • Dynamics 365 Business Central

    • Dynamics NAV

    • Project implementation or management


    Other Information:


    • Must sit onsite in Raleigh, NC

    • 3-4 month contract
