Program Facilitator, Sexual Assault Prevention Curriculum - San Antonio, TX


Job Description:

Our client, a global nonprofit research organization, is seeking a part-time Program Facilitator for Sexual Assault Prevention Curriculum Intervention. Responsibilities for this position will include delivering a sexual assault prevention curriculum to Basic Military Trainees at JBSA-Lackland, conducting observations of others delivering the program, and collecting and uploading data related to program observations. This position is a part-time (10-20 hours/week) four-month contract position with possibility of extension located in San Antonio, TX with a start date of July 2019.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver a sexual assault prevention curriculum to Basic Military Trainees

  • Conduct observations of others delivering the program

  • Collect and upload data related to program observations

  • Ability to establish rapport with trainees and use excellent classroom management skills to facilitate discussions

  • Ability to follow a standardized script and protocol

  • All activities, except for weekly phone check-ins with the RTI Project Manager and technical assistance team, will be conducted in person in San Antonio, TX


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Previous experience with sexual assault response or prevention and experience working with military populations preferred


Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Experience teaching or training adults is required

  • Strong social skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Must perform detailed tasks quickly and efficiently

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and data security

  • Ability to lift and carry study materials, not exceeding 50 pounds

  • Occasional bending and stooping required

  • Ability to record responses on paper and pencil questionnaires

  • Must have internet access to upload data after each visit to base and access to phone and computer for regular check-ins with supervisor and support team

  • Must be able to attend two-day training in July 2019; Otherwise, flexible work days
