Program Coordinator


Job Description:

Our client, located in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Program Coordinator to add to their team! This individual will provide operational support and customer service to therapists and clients in the mental health division. This position works in conjunction with the Administrator to ensure smooth front and back end operations to facilitate service delivery that is timely, efficient, compliant and compassionate. You will also support all day-to-day department activities and perform a variety of internal functions with the goal of ensuring license staff can focus their time on direct client care activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive, triage and respond to telephone, fax and email requests for information, appointments and medical records.

  • Manage client records and program files, to include accurate data entry and document scanning.

  • Assist clients with pre-appointment process, including demographics, insurance, registration and payment-related processes.

  • Assist with client care coordination through management of referrals and related documentation and collateral contacts.

  • Document and maintain meeting minutes and quality improvement records.

  • Prepare and revise documents as needed.

  • Enter data and generate reports as needed.

  • Maintain department supplies for staff and clients.

  • Serve as backup to front desk staff as needed.

  • Provide interpreting and/or translation services as needed (if bilingual).

  • Other duties as assigned.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • Specific EMR and/or healthcare office training/certification preferred.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Bilingual language skills preferred but not required.

    • Knowledgeable about HIPAA rules and guidelines.

    • Excellent computer, word processing, and data entry skills required.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
