Process Manager Sales Operations


Job Description:

Our client is searching for a Process Manager who's primary responsibility is to deliver business objectives through assigned projects while maintaining time, scope, quality, and budget. The Process Manager will work with the project owner to create the project plans and assign tasks to project personnel. This position monitors staff and the project, manages risks, escalates issues from project teams and may manage budgets. In this role, you will build strong cross-functional and collaborative relationships with business partners to fully understand their strategies and needs and to assure direction and clarity of assigned projects. This individual will need high levels of leadership, initiative, and communication skills in order to simultaneously manage multiple processes and projects and communicate effectively to multiple levels of the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Determines team structure, including resource allocation, to manage projects

  • Schedule and track project status and resource effectiveness

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Make formal and informal presentations to small and large groups on strategies and programs and provide brief, easy to understand findings and recommendations

  • Communicate the vision and project objectives to impacted teams

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across functions and levels to achieve business objectives and drive strategic change

  • Understand the interrelationships between different parts of the organization and develop, encourage and leverage synergies with other work groups

  • Capture, translate and align business requirements across various functions

  • Work with the project owner in defining, designing, and project managing strategic initiatives

  • Work with Director to develop processes that enable successful and cost effective deployment of small and large scale initiatives

  • Identify project issues and risks that may cause delays and escalate to appropriate level to ensure that it is addressed.

  • Travel overnight occasionally


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or higher, degree preferred in Management, Marketing, Finance, Communications, Statistics, or related field.


Desired Background/Skills:


  • 2-5 years business experience and related project management experience preferred.

  • 2 years in-store retail experience strongly preferred.


Qualifications:


  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Effectively present information and respond to question from groups of managers, clients, or customers

  • Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

  • Good financial ability to manage budgets and understand financial models for internal and external customers

  • Ability to understand statistical and analytical concepts as well as communicate them to non-technical audiences

  • Strong analytical skills required

  • Ability to develop and communicate customer insight findings and recommendations

  • Strong strategic/innovative thinker

  • Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules and budgets

  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects in varying degrees of implementation

  • Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across functions in order to achieve business objectives and drive strategic change

  • Proven track record of establishing strong relationships with the field sales and operations and experience in leading complex cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (including MS Project and MS Powerpoint) required

  • Ability to quickly learn and use job specific computer programs such as Hyperion Financial, SPSS, and Business Objects
