Press and Binding Coordinator (Second Shift)

Job Description:

Our client, a top print facilities globally, is looking for a Press and Binding Coordinator to join their growing team! The Press and Binding Coordinator plays a vital role in seeing that publications are printed, bound and packaged in a timely manner to meet deadlines of delivery. This is a contract to hire role based in Wilmington, NC. Second shift hours are Mon - Fri 3:30pm to 1:30am, with opportunity of overtime hours. Pay rate of $15/hr to start on contract with excellent benefits once permanent.


  • Examine job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors, and/or special printing/binding instructions.

  • Perform typical press operations and binding operations to support the production

  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

  • Progress jobs in workflow software as needed.

  • Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any necessary

  • Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.

  • Document and report any issues that arise with press and binding equipment.

  • Identify and follow consumable guidelines.

  • Have workstation 100% prepared for next shift to take over.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED required
