Performance Manager


Job Description:

Greene Resources is seeking a skilled Performance Manager to add to our team! The Performance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with client managers. This individual will coordinate the recruiting and human resources efforts to ensure quality and timeliness of candidate submissions, employee relations for on-site contingent workforce, and compliance and daily involvement with operational activities. The Performance Manager will also manage an internal team consisting of a Resource Administrator and a Human Resources Coordinator. The Performance Manager will provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity!


Responsibilities:


  • Strengthen current manager relationships to ensure fulfillment and presenting solutions to resolve customer issues

  • Review and update client position descriptions

  • Manage open requisitions to ensure quality of candidate submissions from vendor partners

  • Ensure submissions comply with requisitions deadlines

  • Investigate issues, settle employee concerns, and follow up with the employees to resolve difficult situations and bring about an appropriate solution

  • Resolve employee relations issues by collaborating with management on disciplinary infractions and process terminations when necessary

  • Reduce turnover and absenteeism through effective mentoring and coaching of employees; ensuring immediate follow-up on all attendance compliance issues and periodic review of policies and procedures for consistency of application

  • Administer evaluations and performance reviews as appropriate

  • Liaison with client hiring managers, human resources department and appropriate vendors

  • Assist with employee orientation, which includes general policies, client-specific rules and regulations, job responsibilities and requirements, and benefits

  • Review current policies and procedures to make necessary changes

  • Work on various projects as assigned


Education Requirements:


  • Associates degree or equivalent


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • 3+ years of Human Resources experience

    • PHR preferred but not required

    • Ability to handle and resolve problems efficiently and effectively

    • Successfully establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision

    • Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written correspondence, including business interactions and Internet (email) communication

    • Skilled in establishing strong relationships with customers (employee and client)

    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task

    • Knowledge of various computer software packages, including strong MS Word and Excel skills
