PC Support Technician

Job Description:

Our client, in Racine, WI, is seeking a PC Support Technician (IT professional) with at least 5-7 years? experience in PC support and customer service. The person should have extensive background in system updates, imaging configuration, troubleshooting, and desk side support. This individual needs to be self-motivated to work without close supervision, and have strong communication skills. This is a full time, contract opportunity.


  • Assist with PC Laptop issues and damages

  • Understand internal employee needs and provide solutions to help enable the user or process

  • Receive IT support requests through various channels including phone, chat, e-mail, and employee self service

  • Provide remote IT support for quick resolutions to software, OS, telecomm, and network related issues

  • Log and prioritize tickets based on the impact and urgency of the incident reported

  • Resolve backlog of support requests by priority, then on a first in first out basis, providing detailed documentation and updates of troubleshooting performed

  • Deliver and reclaim IT hardware, peripherals, and equipment to/from various office and manufacturing locations around the clients campus

  • Perform remote software installations

  • Update central knowledge base with workarounds and known issues

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 5 ? 7 Years? Experience

    • A+ Certified

    • Experience with Active Directory

    • Apple Device knowledge

    • Proficient in Windows 7, 10, Office 2010, 2013 and SharePoint

    • Laptop Imaging

    • Experience with Exchange Servers

    • Mobile Iron

    • Knowledge of Druva

    • Heat Ticketing

    • PC Laptop Break/Fix experience

    • Peripheral configuration


    • McAfee
