Job Description:

Our client, a leading provider of cloud based operations management software is seeking a skilled Payroll Operations Analyst to join their team in Raleigh, NC! The HR and Payroll Operations Analyst role is part of the Payroll and Compensation team within the Human Resources function. This role is responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll for US and Canada and bi-weekly payroll for US, processing commissions in the commission software, and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS. As a member of this team, this role shares accountability for ensuring effective data management and process and procedural documentation.   • Manages the administration and system optimization of HR tech and software solutions in support of talent programs.

  • Processes 6 payrolls a month: 2 Semi-monthly US, 2 semi-monthly Canada, and 2 bi-weekly US. This includes managing time-off balances, deduction and earning codes, garnishments, relationship management of vendor services with HRIS.

  • Participates in audits as needed for payroll purposes.

  • Processes monthly commissions for the sales organization. This includes understanding how the commission software works and maintaining records and employment changes.

  • Serves as Tier 1 support for all HR system related requests.

  • Manages all employment verification and unemployment requests.

  • Responsible for creating user guides, training content, process documentation, and identifying efficiencies for HR operational functions.

  • Audits talent data contained in HR systems of record to ensure integrity.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 3 plus years of experience with systems, process improvement, or human resources

    • Previous experience with UltiPro

    • Experience with HR systems, Microsoft Excel,

    • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments

    • Ability to exercise independent judgement with guidance from manager

    • Demonstrates strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills

    • Ability to think through processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes
