Operations Manager


Job Description:

Our client is searching for an Operations Manager to perform a variety of administrative, human resource, and financial duties. This individual will plan, direct, and coordinate office operations, as well as support the Managing Director, and brokers. They will also work with department heads to assist in management of support staff.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage procedures and responsibilities for opening and closing the office each day and for ensuring an overall smooth working environment

  • Examine financial statements and reduce costs as necessary

  • Coordinate operations team, broker, and principal meetings and agendas

  • Coordinate monthly company meeting

  • Assist with annual budget preparation

  • Assist in planning and contributing towards the company's strategic and operational objectives

  • Perform human resource duties in concert with corporate HR

  • Handle the selection and management of vendors and service providers

  • Maintain office equipment lease and maintenance agreements and coordinate service/repairs as needed

  • Maintain company calendar and announcement boards

  • Coordinate company office moves and internal employee moves

  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable

  • Manage brokerage billings and commission tracking and reporting

  • Serve as liaison with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, maintaining broker-in-charge, continuing education, license activation and license inactivation functions

  • Work with Managing Director to track production and progress toward budget targets

  • Work with department heads to recruit, hire and train support team members

  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding of employees and brokers

  • Supervise receptionist/front desk support, ensuring adequate coverage at all times

  • Work closely with Vice President of Marketing to assist in management of brokerage support team

  • Spearhead internal committees to lead employee engagement programs such as volunteer opportunities, company socials, etc.

  • Serve as corporate communications liaison

  • Perform other duties as necessary


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Real estate, finance, human resources or business degree and/or experience preferred


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • Three to five years experience in related field

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs required

    • Proficiency in Apto/Sales Force CRM programs preferred

    • Strong communication skills

    • Strong organization skills

    • Great attention to detail and discretion are needed

    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and work with a variety of personalities
