Job Description:

Our client in the area that provides research, development, and technical services to government and commercial clients worldwide, has an exciting opportunity that will play a key role in their digital transformation. The role is for a Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance Systems Analyst, who will provide business process and systems expertise in support of their Dynamics 365 ERP implementation, which is foundational to our clients long-term digital transformation strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Advise on D365 F&O module capabilities and related fit/gap analysis for client's business requirements.

  • Serves as a "super user" for the D365 F&) module and how best to utilize the software to meet requirements.

  • Responsible for project documentation, including user guides, functional design documents, and process flow documentation.

  • Records, tracks, and documents trouble ticket requests including prioritizing, scheduling, problem-solving process, decisions, and action items, through to the final resolution.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting, or finance or equivalent experience.


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Industry experience with Government Contracting and/or Professional Services.

  • Experience with one or more of the following Microsoft platforms: MS SQL, Azure Synapse, Microsoft DevOps, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of D365 F&O (preferable) or Microsoft Dynamics AX experience.

  • Ability to effectively translate systems concepts and communicate them in a way that is understandable to business colleagues.

  • Strong documentation (e.g., technical, and functional specifications, process flow, system schematics) skills.

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) skills.

  • Excellent problem solving and solutioning skills.

  • Proactive mindset and motivation to learn new skills.
