Material Handler


Job Description:

Our partner, a market-leading innovator and manufacturer in the LED Lighting Industry, has immediate temporary positions available for Material Handlers.


Responsibilities:


  • Maneuver inventory via fork lift and pallet jack while observing all safety procedures and company policies

  • Physically pull LED / driver board / mechanical kits and transact material in Oracle

  • Return LED / Driver / mechanical kits to the warehouse and to electronic inventory

  • Perform periodic cycle counts and warehouse audits to ensure correct inventory

  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse

  • Evaluate, audit and stock critical materials to support production

  • Palletize, stage, and deliver parcels to inventory locations and other areas using a pallet jack or forklift


Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED


Desired Background/Skills:


  • 2-5 years of electrical, technical, or high-end manufacturing experience

  • Aptitude for handling repetitive tasks

  • Electronic component knowledge

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Oracle or other ERP system experience


Qualifications:


  • Proven work history showing a strong work ethic and stability in previous positions

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle

  • Ability to lift 50lbs + multiple times per shift

  • Ability to be on feet and moving for long periods of time

  • Reliable transportation available

  • Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read and write effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and great problem solving skills
