Marketing Project Coordinator

Job Description:

Our client located in Durham, NC, is seeking a skilled Marketing Project Coordinator for the management of their corporate projects. This role?s primary responsibility is to oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of various company projects. This is a full time, contract opportunity with an exciting company!


  • Assist the VP of Corporate Marketing in maintaining the integrity of the client brands

  • Oversee the coordination and completion of projects to be on time, within budget, and within the scope

  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize the progress of the project

  • Invoice management and processing

  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop project plans to monitor and track progress, this includes spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders

  • Use and continually develop leadership skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

    • Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unspecified assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management skills

    • Strong ability to multi-task, assess multiple tasks and prioritize those tasks

    • Great interpersonal and communication skills

    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
