Job Description:

Our client in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Level I IT Support Technician to join their team. If you have IT experience, skills, and a determined mindset to overcome any obstacle, you will enjoy being part of their team. Technology is always advancing, creating an environment that is fast-paced and dynamic. This position is full-time and offers $16.50 to $18.50 per hour, based on experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as primary contact for all client support calls

  • Handle first-line troubleshooting to understand client problems

  • Attempt to resolve or adequately diagnose problem

  • Create service ticket

  • Ensure problems are resolved remotely or dispatch technician as appropriate

  • May go on-site for Level 1 technical issues usually no more than ten hours per week

  • Manage scheduling of technicians

  • Order parts for technicians as needed

  • Any administrative support functions as directed by business owner

  • Install, upgrade and optimize PC and network device hardware for clients

  • Manage, administer and secure Local Area Networks


Education Requirements:



    Desired Background/Skills:


    • Exchange Server experience preferred

    • Minimum two years customer service experience in a business-to-business environment

    • Strong organizational and communication skills


    Qualifications:


    • A minimum of CompTIA A+ certification preferred

    • CompTIA Net+ or Security+ also a plus

    • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician desirable
