IT Service Coordinator


Job Description:

Our client a trusted technology advisor for Managed IT Services is looking for a IT Service Coordinator. The IT Service Coordinator will be the primary contact for all client support calls. The IT Service Coordinator will also serve first-line technician to understand client problems. Hours M-F 8-5 Compensation $35-50k


Responsibilities:


  • Primary contact for all client support calls

  • Handle first-line troubleshooting to understand client problems

  • Work with the Director of Support and Senior Systems Admin to coordinate their daily technical schedules

  • Attempt to resolve or adequately diagnose problem

  • Create Autotask service ticket

  • Ensure problems are resolved remotely or dispatch technician as appropriate

  • Ensure work is completed and properly documented

  • Manage scheduling of technicians in Autotask

  • Order parts for technicians as needed

  • Any administrative support functions as directed by business owner


Education Requirements:


  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Desired Background/Skills:


  • One ? two years customer service experience in a business-to-business environment


Qualifications:


  • Prefer a minimum of CompTIA A+ certification

  • CompTIA Net+ or Security+ also a plus; Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician desirable

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
