IT Asset Management Administrator

Job Description:

Our client based in the RTP in Raleigh, NC is looking for a IT Asset Management Administrator to join their team! This is a full time, contract position.


  • Receipt of corporate technology assets (hardware, software, services)

  • Review and verify purchase requisitions

  • Properly stock ITAM Warehouse and update IT Asset Management databases

  • Monthly physical evaluation of corporate technology assets

  • Works closely with Support Services Management to meet quarterly goals

  • Facilitate retirement and disposal of corporate technology systems

  • Facilitate Return Merchandise Authorizations and Materials discrepancy reports for defective or unwanted technology assets

  • Call in warranty repairs, understand functionality issues and technical terms

  • Pre-image upgrades of memory, hard drives and devices

  • Apply technical knowledge and understanding to image corporate systems

  • Assist maintain PC loaner Pool

  • Assist provide hardware and software reports where needed

  • Assist maintain Software & Hardware Technology Life Cycle Reports along with Standard Equipment List

  • Create Standard and Technical operating Procedures as needed

  • Complete other functions relating to ITAM as needed

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, and 1 year some inventory and stock room experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Desired Background/Skills:


    • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

    • Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing and work well with others

    • Ability to work independently, proactively, and is able to set priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

    • Attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Ability to obtain proper security clearances as noted by contracts.

    • Must be able to work flexible hours as required

    • Ability to maintain stability of performance under pressure
