Instructor for a Sexual Assault Prevention Curriculum

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Instructor for a Sexual Assault Prevention Curriculum. This is a part-time, contract position based in San Antonio, TX.


  • Serving as a classroom instructor delivering a sexual assault prevention curriculum to Basic Military Air Force Trainees.

  • Conducting observations of others who are delivering the program

  • Collecting and uploading data related to program observations from week-to-week.

  • Build and establish rapport with students

Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience is required. Background in social work, sexual assault prevention, violence prevention, psychology, victim advocacy are all pluses.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Experience with sexual assault response or prevention and/or experience working with military populations


  • Experience facilitating/leading/teaching/providing training to adults is required, especially preferred when this experience has been with large classroom settings.

  • Need to be able to use tablets, smart phones, and laptops and, in general, be familiar with that type of technology.

  • Strong communication, social skills and a high energy level are necessary for this position; in addition, the qualified candidate needs to be able to establish rapport with trainees and use excellent classroom management skills to facilitate discussions.

  • Able to follow a standardized script and protocol and maintain confidentiality and data security.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Other Information:

  • Must be able to attend two-day training onsite and will be discussed in more detail during interview process.

  • Flexible work days, 10-20 hours per week.
