Job Description:

Our client, located in Durham, NC, is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to add to their team! In this position under general direction from the Human Resources Manager, you will perform professional-level duties in one or more internal support areas, including human resources/personnel, executive office, finance, and in other areas. You will also perform routine professional work with a fair degree of independence or may perform more complex work under closer supervision/collaboration. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity with an exciting company!


  • Directly supporting the mission and success of the organization; compiles and analyzes data, participates in design and implementation of systems and procedures.

  • Works with hiring managers to update and manage job descriptions and prepare job postings in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.

  • Utilizing standardized and legally compliant screening criteria, conducts phone screens for applicants and coordinate scheduling for interviews.

  • Facilitates offer letter and post-offer background check processes.

  • Oversees and administers onboarding and offboarding process in HRIS.

  • Facilitate enrollment into HRIS, payroll and employee benefits portals.

  • Offboarding: terminates departing employees in HRIS and employee benefits and ensures off-boarding tasks are assigned and completed by appropriate personnel.

  • Run reports for the HR Manager, President, Finance, and other departments as requested.

  • Participate in, and wherever possible, lead HR audits - such as EEO-1, OSHA, I-9, policy administration, record retention, etc.

  • Prepare and finalize all SOP?s for the HR department.

  • Supports maintenance of HRIS and Intranet by updating and replacing content and materials as needed.

  • Coordinates performance review process of employees reporting directly to the President, ensuring that reviews are conducted and documented in a timely fashion.

  • Facilitate the process of obtaining a title, registration, & insurance in the appropriate states when a new vehicle is purchased, preparing all necessary paperwork for the Regional Tech to take to their local DMV

Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, personnel administration, psychology or closely related field.

    • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations governing personnel matters; ability to maintain knowledge of new and changing developments to same.

    • General understanding of statistical and financial analysis and to prepare summaries incorporating such knowledge for presentation to management.

    • Demonstration of exceptional time management, organizational and record keeping abilities.

    • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage multiple projects.
