Job Description:

Our client in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Human Resources / Accounting Manager to join their growing team! The role of the Human Resources / Accounting Manager is to oversee general administrative and accounting tasks at several office locations in the area and to manage the HR functions for the entire company. The Human Resources / Accounting Manager must have strong communication and leadership skills. This is a full-time role with benefits and pay starting at $40-45K, depending on experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform bookkeeping responsibilities to include A/P, A/R, journal entries, etc

  • Complete general administrative tasks as needed

  • Administer employee benefits

  • Respond to unemployment claims

  • Maintain personnel files


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or other related field preferred

  • Associate degree required


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise software

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Communication and leadership skills


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of three years of experience in HR and accounting

  • Experience in the administration of employee benefits and unemployment claims

  • Must be a self-starter

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
