HR Coodinator

Job Description:

Our client, a national benefits brokerage firm, is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team in Atlanta! The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the HR and Talent Management team fulfilling the essential role of assisting the company in continuing to attract, recruit, and retain industry-leading talent.


  • Provides day to day administrative support to the department with tasks such as filing, copying, and preparing materials for trainings and other HR related processes

  • Maintains all aspects of company's personnel and payroll records

  • Manages documentation with the process for onboarding all new employees

  • Analyzes basic and standardized reporting for the department

  • Administrative responsibilities for company's multiple payrolls

  • Oversees and assists with the administration of employee recognition programs

  • Processes e-Verify and maintains I-9 records in accordance to the Department of Homeland Security regulations

  • Researches appropriate content and material for various department projects

  • Responsible for department managing mail and responding accordingly

  • Help coordinate department activities

  • Other projects as assigned by management

Education Requirements:

  • HS Diploma, BA/BS degree preferred

  • HR Certification is a plus

  • 1-2 years of HR / Administration experience

Desired Background/Skills:


    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

    • Works independently and with team on nonrecurring and ongoing projects

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal, corporate and financial information
