Global Gender Center Marketing Assistant
Job Description:
Our client, a global nonprofit research organization, has an immediate opening for a Bachelor's level Marketing Assistant to assist with tasks for the Global Gender Center. This position will provide the successful prospect the opportunity to expand their knowledge of multidisciplinary research that seeks to improve gender inequality globally in the areas of health and wellness - including substance use and HIV, economic empowerment, educating girls and women, and ending gender-based violence. The successful applicant will gain experience in supporting Center management and communications activities, website content development, social media account management, and event planning and logistics preparation. This position is a part-time (10-20 hours per week) 6-month contract position with possibility of extension located in RTP, NC.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning Global Gender Center events, including logistical preparation and marketing tasks
Update the external facing website and assist in developing up-to-date blog and site content
Develop research project impact stories
Create social media content and develop online marketing plans
Preparation for Center and subcommittee meetings, including creating agendas and minutes
Maintaining organization of affiliates through a survey database
Data cleaning of gender project databases and surveys
Simple quantitative/qualitative data analysis
Education Requirements:
Currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent graduate

Social media savvy (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Technical writing skills
Exceptional communication and analytical skills
Ability to plan, anticipate, and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the Internet
Experience with online design and marketing platforms a plus (Canva, Mailchimp, Pardot etc.)
Great attention to detail and works well with others, willingness to be flexible
