Job Description:

Our client, in Raleigh, is looking for an individual with the drive for detail to join their team! As a Document Processor, you will work independently in a fast-paced environment during the peak processing period to review documents and information for completeness. This is a full-time contract position that will for 6 - 8 months.


  • Review incoming documents and past activity on files to determine the appropriateness of documents and to ensure proper handling of special cases

  • Perform data entry of tax and other financial information from documents provided to the client

  • Support verification review

  • Validate incoming faxes

  • Assist management as needed and perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution and 2+ years related experience preferred

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Extensive work with a PC


  • Previous experience reviewing documents and performing data entry

  • Previous experience in a financial aid office environment

  • Basic knowledge of Title IV financial aid and Federal Tax policy and terminology

  • Financial aid, admissions, and/or loan processing background

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks and follow both verbal and written direction with minimal supervision

  • Skill working with computer programs and ability to adapt quickly to system changes

  • Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships and work effectively in a team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
