Job Description:

Our client, based in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Division Manager to add to their team. This individual will be responsible for leading the initiative, execution, and growth of principles for their respective department. This exceptional manager will provide leadership to a dedicated group of service and sales professionals. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity with a company that offers competitive benefits and PTO.


  • Manage the division for consistent revenue growth, expense control, and profitability.

  • Direct critical human resource decisions of all office and field personnel.

  • Set a positive example to employees to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions in the shop or on job sites or violations of company safety policy.

  • Assure that service technicians perform their tasks in a workmanlike, proficient and professional manner.

  • Assure that office and administrative needs from the technicians are constantly met (work orders, time sheets daily, warranty claims etc.).

  • Demonstrate leadership in attitude, morale, appearance, mannerisms and work ethic.

  • Work with service and installation supervisors and technicians to teach and train technicians on both technical proficiencies and customer service strategies.

  • Implement consistent training schedules, targeting the needs of the technicians and industry.

  • Work with other department leaders to develop efficient operational procedures and policies.

  • Monitor performances and ability levels of technicians and support staff to provide input for performance evaluation purposes.

  • Implement and maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry.

  • Oversee efficient purchasing and acquisition of equipment, parts and supplies to support the field service team and keep a consistent inventory management program.

  • Maintain accurate inventory practices.

  • Manage direct labor to fit the budgeted goals of the division, reducing un-applied time and maximizing efficiency and production from service technicians and installers, reducing overtime.

  • Customer Service follow up.

  • Ensure all company vehicles are maintained, cleaned, and inventory kept.

  • Consistently review financial performance of department to identify areas of improvements and needs.

  • Monitor production efficiency of installs and technicians.

  • Ensure department complies with industry regulations and codes to full completeness.

  • Properly review/approve payroll and incentives within the guidelines established.

  • Market and advertise department to potential customers in the area served.

  • Help build a platform for future growth and efficiency.

  • To dispatch all work, keeping up with dispatch board in the absence of a dispatcher.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
