DEI Program Coordinator

Job Description:

Our client, Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, is looking for a Triangle Diversity, Equity, & Inclusivity Alliance (TDEIA) Program Coordinator to join their team! The Triangle DEI Alliance is an advocate for measures that will create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive business region. The Program Coordinator will provide program management, event, and marketing support for the Triangle Diversity, Equity, & Inclusivity Alliance as well as provide administrative support to the Director. This is a full time direct hire position based in Raleigh, NC.


  • Correspond, communicate with and serve as main contact for Triangle DEI Alliance investors, Chamber members, and leadership regarding upcoming meetings, events, and relevant news and information.

  • Support the Director in administration and scheduling and executing meetings, including quarterly investor update meetings.

  • Coordinate and execute logistics of committee meetings, events that are free to members and/or public, Triangle DEI Alliance membership programs, and smaller events. This includes coordination of A/V, food, RSVP's, agenda / minutes, talking points, photography ? both in advance and day of event.

  • Create up-to-date web content for Triangle DEI Alliance website

  • Coordinate development of all marketing efforts including printed materials and social media outlets ranging from local to national contexts.

  • Maintain membership databases, files, and electronic mailing lists for investor records, committees, and financial information.

  • Distribute invoices, trade applications, membership and sponsorship applications, purchase orders, and routine budget work (expense details, etc.).

  • Perform research and analysis to support Triangle DEI Alliance priorities and focus areas.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 1-2 years of post-college work experience

    • Previous administrative/clerical experience

    • Previous meeting and event coordination experience

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Outstanding service attitude and work ethic.

    • Detail orientation and sound organizational skills.

    • Respect for diversity.
