Customer Service Representative


Job Description:

Our partner, a national provider of diagnostic testing, has an immediate need for a customer service support representative. This position will serve as a liaison between branches, regional laboratories and customers and will answer phone calls to address various inquiries. Ability to work overtime is preferred. Will work on a contract to hire basis with potential for full time employment.


Responsibilities:


  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer problems

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative/clerical duties (i.e., payroll, paternity testing results, billing, data entry and phlebotomy related questions)

  • Answer high volume inbound calls, maintain logs/records

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment


Education Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent


Desired Background/Skills:


  • 1+ year of relevant call center experience

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Proficient with numbers

  • Able to utilize computerized databases and accurate document notes from conversations

  • Quickly and accurately research information and effectively manage time
