Customer Service Representative


Job Description:

Our client, a durable medical equipment supplier in Wilmington, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relations by providing assistance and support during the order cycle, presentation and processing. The hours for the Customer Service Representative are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour for lunch. The Customer Service Representative pay starts at $12-14 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits. Responsibilities:


  • Process incoming phone calls and facilitate appropriate action

  • Perform in all aspects of customer service to include returns, pricing and follow-up support

  • Review vendor confirmations and invoices to ensure accuracy of orders

  • Process customer Sales Orders and vendor Purchase Orders

  • Report product incidents as required in accordance to company policy

  • Monitor and notify customers of orders that are back-ordered and discontinued

  • Maintain customer relations by providing unlimited help and support

  • Assist with processing of a range of daily administrative business functions

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment


Education Requirements:


  • High school education required


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Experience in customer service

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic computer and software experience


Qualifications:


  • Ability to maintain positive relationships and operate as part of a team

  • Ability to operate computer controls

  • Ability to lift heavy items (25 lbs)

  • Strong phone presence
