Job Description:

Our client, located in the RTP, NC area, is seeking an experienced custodian to add to their team! This individual will need to be detail oriented with a strong work ethic and previous cleaning experience. The primary responsibility of the Custodian will maintain premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition. This is a full-time contract opportunity.


Responsibilities:


  • General cleaning including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors and dusting.

  • Spot wash doors frames, around light switches, glass entrances and partitions.

  • Empty bins and replace liners.

  • Restrooms cleaning and replenish supplies.

  • Keep bathroom sinks and counter free of water, soap, etc. and sanitize.

  • Wash and polish all walls, partitions, tile walls and enamel from trim to floor in restrooms.

  • Conference rooms cleaning: clean and dust tables; brush chairs and dust chair legs; clean whiteboards.

  • Stairway cleaning: sweep stairs, damp mop stairs and wipe handrails; spot clean doors, walls and other building surfaces.


Education Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

    Qualifications:


    • Previous experience with custodian work and/or maintenance.

    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Great attention to detail.

    • Strong work ethic.

    • Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel.

    • Ability to work effectively in a service oriented environment subject to frequently changing priorities

    • Ability to work independently or in teams as well as with diverse group.
