Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join their team! The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting; recruit, screen and recommend placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This is a full time, direct hire position based in Raleigh, NC.


  • Identify and recruit high-potential candidates whose skills, culture, motivation and ambition align with the company's needs.

  • Work with management to identify internal hiring needs, understand job requirements, and create job descriptions when needed.

  • Assist with company start-ups and travel to locations when needed to interview.

  • Conduct full interview process with promising candidates as needed: phone interview, in person interview, reference checks.

  • Assist with the on-boarding process for new hires: track pre-employment paperwork, create offer letters, liaise with HR department, etc.

  • Continuously update Application Tracking System with relevant information- interview notes, resumes, salary, employment data, etc.

  • Utilize social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to advertise our open positions and connect with relevant candidates.

  • Attend local networking events to interact with potential candidates.

  • Represent Sunstates Security at job fairs to attract top talent.

  • Create, drive and manage social media and marketing strategy to include careers webpage, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task at a high level on a daily basis and desire to grow to maximize your career potential.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time when needed.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Desired Background/Skills:

  • ATS experience is preferred


  • 2+ years experience in recruiting

  • Ability to build strong relationships

  • Familiarity with relevant sourcing techniques and ability to remain current with strategic sourcing techniques and skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
