Job Description:

Our client, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, is a non-profit seeking a Campaign Coordinator to add to their team. This individual will assist the Vice President, Membership Engagement, in managing and operating all aspects of the Chamber's annual Total Revenue Campaign, which generates one third of the Chamber's annual operating budget. This position requires a detail and deadline oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service and communication with volunteers. This individual must demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, follow-through, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment. The Campaign Coordinator will additionally manage new member acquisition, retention, and benefit delivery for Young Professionals Network. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity!


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in managing campaign income and expenses to meet budgeted goals

  • Provide support and resources to campaign team leaders and volunteers throughout the campaign, including quick response to questions, assisting on sales calls, prospect development, coordination of invoicing with the Accounts Receivable staff

  • Assist in management of the campaign incentive trip

  • Record and report campaign sales

  • Recruit and manage campaign intern

  • Schedule leadership meetings, training sessions, Campaign Kickoff, report sessions and Victory Celebration

  • Manage event planning logistics for the campaign events, including decorations, give-away items, agendas, entertainment and food

  • Schedule and plan campaign training, including logistics, communication, and preparation of training materials, including video and PowerPoint presentations

  • Run a daily report to see which campaign-related sales have been sent directly to the Chamber and notify team leaders

  • Track transactions received at Chamber and not reported for campaign credit

  • Manage communications with campaign volunteers, team leaders, leadership committee members and Board members through a weekly Campaign e-newsletter and weekly Report Session email invitation

  • Schedule and prepare for Team Leader and Leadership Committee meetings during the campaign, including scheduling the room, sending email reminders, assisting in preparation of agendas and meeting materials, and sending follow-up materials after the meeting

  • Track pledges not received and follow up with team leaders to secure payment


Education Requirements:


  • Associate's degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 1-2 years of fundraising experience in a non-profit or university setting
