Job Description:

Our client, based in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a professional Call Center Counselor for a 6 month contract assignment. This individual will interact with students, parents, and financial aid professionals in a courteous manner to deliver information in answer to inquiries about programs administered by our client, and project the professional organization image.


Responsibilities:


  • Communicate information to assist students, parents, and financial aid professionals regarding the client's verification program from general program overview to detailed student specific instructions.

  • Assist end-users with on-line applications from the client's websites.

  • Resolve problems with navigating the website and assist with connectivity and other browser or online application related issues.

  • Assist colleges and universities with the client's processes and services.


Education Requirements:


  • Associates degree or equivalent college coursework from an accredited institution.

    Qualifications:


    • At least 1-2 years of previous customer service experience in a call center.

    • Ability to maintain composure and avoid aggressive behavior in very difficult situations.

    • Basic mathematics skills.

    • Basic PC and keyboarding skills.

    • Great attention to detail.

    • Ability to multi-task.

    • Ability to meet and manage customer expectations in a professional and timely manner.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Flexibility/Adaptability.

    • Ability to work well with others in a friendly non-competitive environment.
