Job Description:

Our client, a biomedical distribution team in Wilmington, is searching for a Business Support Analyst to provide support to their team following the implementation of a new ERP system. This a full-time position with generous compensation. While technical experience is not required, this role is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to broaden their technical skill sets!


Responsibilities:


  • Act as liaison and escalation point for any issues with ERP system

  • Remotely support and advise IT Manager on areas for development and BAU activities related to ERP system

  • Proactively identify risks and issues and resolve with support of the on-site systems analyst

  • Continually review business processes and advise the operations director of potential benefits of utilizing additional functions of ERP system

  • Assist in development of IT procedures to help the IT functions effectively support the business

  • Work with the systems analyst to test systems developments before they are deployed

  • Train office staff as needed and develop other users within the functional departments


Education Requirements:


  • Four year degree preferred


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Technical experience is not required, but a good understanding of the concepts of system configuration would be advantageous

  • Business process mapping experience

  • Exposure to Microsoft SSRS or Crystal Reports


Qualifications:


  • A solid understanding of ERP systems/processes (e.g. Epicor, MS Dynamics, SAP Business One, Sage X3)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
