Job Description:

Our client, based in Wendell, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated field Application Engineer to join their team! The primary responsibilities of the Applications Engineer will provide technical support to customers and sales teams. As a technical expert, the Application Engineer will have the opportunity to assist with training programs, non-standard coordinate projects with engineers, promote new design-ins, and develop and promote the existing and new non-standard projects. This position is a 1st shift, direct-hire opportunity.


  • Manage non-standard projects in order to maximize the business according to the division guidance.

  • Provides, presents and interprets design, application and service information.

  • Explores the business feasibility of general marketing.

  • Follow up after special projects, to ensure that we provided the best solution based on the customer specifications

  • Develop new products with the production and process engineering teams and run evaluation tests.

  • Manage projects of special products, which require the involvement of multiple teams, including engineering, R&D, Q.A., and production.

  • Coordinate the project between the factory and the end customer.

  • Support policies & procedures to promote continuous improvements to the quality of the product.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.

  • 1-3 year?s experience with working knowledge of product production planning, manufacturing methods, procedures, and cost reduction techniques.
