Advanced Machine Operator, Direct Hire (CREE)


Job Description:

Our partner, a market-leading innovator and manufacturer of semiconductors, has openings for Advanced Machine Operators. Join a team built on integrity, honesty, and a high level of business ethics. The Advanced Semiconductor Operator position will operate on a 12 hour shift. This position will be responsible for operating several different machines within the department. Candidates must be quality conscious, safety conscious, and have good manual dexterity. This is a direct hire position, and is offering an hourly pay rate of $13.50 + applicable shift differentials. Candidates must be flexible to work either a day or night shift on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule that requires the ability to work every other weekend.


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to work with small parts - Excellent dexterity required

  • Perform a variety of functions in semiconductor device manufacturing

  • Follow written or verbal work instructions in completing all assignments and assist in work station set-ups

  • Complete Excel spreadsheets, add attachments to emails and internal filing system, and create documents in MS Word


Education Requirements:


  • HS Diploma or GED


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Microscope Experience

  • 2+ years manufacturing experience

  • Experience operating several types of manufacturing equipment, including technical machine operation

  • Clean room experience


Qualifications:


  • Flexibility to work night or day shift

  • Ability to stand for 12-hours at a time

  • Ability to read and write effectively

  • Comfortable working with various chemicals including solvents, and acids, while wearing protective equipment

  • Experience handling delicate/fragile materials, excellent dexterity and processing experience

  • Team player with the ability to work independently

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Outlook email, MS Word and Excel
