Administrative Support Specialist


Job Description:

Our client, based in Raleigh, is seeking to add an Administrative Support Specialist to their team! The Administrative Support Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting the credit department's facets of credit and account receivable relationships, review and monitor account invoices along with audits, and support team members through a variety of administrative projects as requested. This opportunity is a contract position with potential to long term hire based on performance. This position will be 1st shift, Mon-Fri, however, flexibility will be required. Starting pay rate $12-12.50/hr based on experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Review invoices and follow up on action items

  • Assist with back end audits and clean-up projects

  • Work with stores to assist with invoice inquiries and follow ups

  • Assist with general office administration projects as needed


Education Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

  • 1+ year of general administrative support or Degree in Business or other relevant field


Desired Background/Skills:


  • 1+ year of general administrative support or Degree in Business or other relevant field.

  • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Credit/collection or customer service experience.


Qualifications:


  • Proficient in MS Outlook (no excel needed) but good general computer skills: Typing test required.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Must possess good written and verbal skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work well with co-workers and superior.

  • Collaborative attitude and strong analytical and investigative skills.

  • Ability to assist with multiple projects and shifting priorities throughout the day.

  • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills.
