Administrative Clerk (Temporary)


Job Description:

Our client in Wilmington, NC is seeking a temporary Administrative Clerk to perform data entry functions and collect payments as needed. The Administrative Clerk must have excellent customer service and computer skills. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 1pm-5pm and will last for approximately 6 months. Pay starts at $10.20 per hour.


Responsibilities:


  • Answer phones and assist customers or direct calls as needed

  • Enter data regarding permits and payments into software

  • Complete general office tasks as necessary

  • Collect payments and manage funds


Education Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent


Desired Background/Skills:


  • Strong customer service skills

  • Two years in a similar position

  • Excellent mathematical skills


Qualifications:


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Professionalism

  • Ability to multi-task
