Administrative Assistant


Job Description:

Our client, a leading gene therapy company, has an open position for an Administrative Assistant. This is a full time contract to hire position with great potential for growth!


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to establish environment of professionalism and welcoming nature for visitors.

  • Act as the point of contact between the executives and internal/external clients.

  • Undertake the tasks of receiving calls, take messages, routing correspondence and managing schedules.

  • Handle requests and queries appropriately.

  • Arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders.

  • Make travel arrangements for executives as needed.

  • Keep Conference and Board Rooms stocked with supplied and in meeting order.

  • Other duties as may be assigned by Sr. Management team or Manager.


Education Requirements:


  • High School Graduation or GED.


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • 0-1 years of applicable experience in Clerical or Office Administration Role.

    • Must be self-motivated, organized, capable of working independently as well as in a collaborative/group environment.

    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Good judgment and innovation to achieve a solution within standard practices and procedures.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio,) required; experience in MS Project.

    • Management and other MS skills a plus.

    • Creativity in their ability to make positive suggestions for improvement within office environment.

    • Ability to flex hours when necessary to handle assignment for Sr. Management.
