Account Manager

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to ensure superior customer service to client partners by working to timely address client's request, needs and concerns. This is a direct hire position based in Raleigh, NC.


  • Primary owner of existing client relationships

  • Prospect for potential sales opportunities and direct them to VP, Sales and Marketing

  • Lead client introductory calls with internal Partners (Sales/Marketing, Client Services, Recruiting, etc.)

  • Develop detailed client-level project summaries and provide to internal partners for execution

  • Assure client management platform (Zoho) is actively updated (real-time) with client communications, statuses, open items and any issues that need to be addressed

  • Develop and maintain client-specific SOPs in conjunction with key internal Partners

  • Oversee and follow-up on project/job planning, acceptance and execution processes

  • Conduct weekly analysis of key internal and client scorecard/performance indicators; develop action plans to address service/performance gaps, as well as verify corrective action steps have been implemented.

  • Assess internal and field talent/performance serving clients; provide feedback to improve performance

  • Celebrate new business contracted and educate the company on understanding projects

  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure client?s needs are met and exceeded

  • Partner with Recruiting, HR and Sales to help grow pool of talent, develop successions plans, improve retention of field employees

  • Develop best practices to ensure optimal performance

  • Ability to work a variable schedule of at least 45 to 50 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Education Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred

Desired Background/Skills:


    • 5 to 6 years experience in Client Services or Staffing preferred

    • Any similar combination of education and experiences

    • Strong background in customer service, recruiting and/or sales required

    • Strong computer skills (i.e google docs., excel, word)

    • Customer Relations oriented

    • Results focused

    • Strong business acumen

    • Strong written and verbal communications
