Job Description:

Our client, located in Columbia SC, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to add to their team! This individual will develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales approach. This position is expected to develop and identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts/segments for the company. This is a direct hire opportunity that offers competitive benefits and PTO.


Responsibilities:


  • Day-to-day management on project accounts.

  • Have a full understanding of the business objectives and be a client advocate to ensure the objectives are met.

  • Build and manage successful relationships on assigned clients.

  • Be a team leader that takes initiative and drives business.

  • Be detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Meet regularly with designers, project manager and customer administrators to identify and drive sales.

  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Be able to articulate client needs to internal team so the project meets the needs of the customer.

  • Assist in preparation of client invoices and proposals.

  • Work effectively in a project team environment.

  • Manage project timing and budget.

  • Exceed client expectations and add value to the strategic and creative process.


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.


Desired Background/Skills:



    Qualifications:


    • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales.

    • Preference for candidates who have knowledge of systems furniture.

    • Must possess excellent written, verbal and public speaking/presentation skills.

    • Highly organized and self-starter.

    • Strong work ethic.
