Business Insurance Account Manager

Job Description:

Our client, a national benefits brokerage firm with locations in the Carolinas, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Insurance Account Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate will be a true insurance advisor, not just a transactional order taker. You will be responsible for managing a book of business and delivering an extraordinary client experience daily. This role will be remote!

Responsibilities:

• Manage a book of business of commercial insurance accounts

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients

• Identify and analyze client needs

• Develop and present insurance solutions

• Negotiate and place insurance policies

• Manage client renewals

• Provide claims assistance

• Deliver an extraordinary client experience

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferred

Desired Background/Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in business insurance sales

• Strong understanding of business insurance products and services

• Excellent sales and negotiation skills

• Ability to build and maintain relationships

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
