Account Coordinator

Job Description:

Our client, an Energy Usage Consultant, is looking for a positive and energetic Account Coordinator to work in a professional and fun call center. In this role, Account Coordinators call prospective customers, including businesses and governmental agencies, of all sizes and types throughout the southeast to set appointments for sales staff. This is a full time position with flexible hours between 7am and 6pm Mon-Fri. Compensation Base $11/hr plus commission up to $10k-$15k a year. Benefits include PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k with 6% match and more.


  • Schedule appointments for outside sales representatives to meet with the prospective customers to close the sale

  • Call about 50 prospective customers per day from company generated leads

  • Document the calls and make follow-up calls as necessary

  • Extensive use of CRM and Outlook

  • Some use of Excel and Word

Education Requirements:

  • 2yr degree required

  • 4yr degree preferred

Desired Background/Skills:

  • 2 years minimum of previous excellent customer service

  • Previous call center experience not required


  • Experience in an outbound call center calling on businesses strongly preferred

  • Experience with ACT or similar CRM

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
