Material Handler
Job Description:
Our partner, a market-leading innovator and manufacturer of semiconductors, has immediate position available for a Material Handler. We are looking for individuals with a great work ethic, desire to learn, and someone looking to be part of a team built on integrity, honesty, and trust. The Material Handler will receive inbound materials, tooling, and chemicals, insuring accurate and defect free processing of receipts of incoming and outbound materials. The Material Handler will also execute all other activities related to the warehouse including material staging, storing, cycle counting and delivery to internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Move material/product from unreleased to released warehouse and ensures the accuracy of information on the Warehouse inventory tag.
Must be able to use appropriate material handling equipment and ensures the safe operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, lifting equipment, etc.).
Prepare materials for the movement within the organization or shipment outside of the organization and forwards to designated location according to established procedures.
Conduct count of materials and verify correct product number, lot number, unit of measurement, etc. and documents movement of material.
Make inventory transactions in Oracle and or Microsoft Excel utilizing Mobil Supply Chain Module.
Use all appropriate personal protective equipment.
Complete all required safety training Hazmat/Hazwopr.
Assure our materials and products comply with internal and external quality requirements by complying with all in-house standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing.
Use Power-ship systems for Domestic and International shipping, in addition to perform tracking detail and freight history for internal customers.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Desired Background/Skills:
Must be proficient in math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
Able to continuously lift up to approximately 50 lbs. throughout the day.
Must be able to stand for 12 hour shift.
Utilize material handling equipment including forklifts (stand up and sit down), pallet jacks and material lifting and moving devices.
Must be able to hear others, as well as machines and equipment.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills and ability to utilize telecommunications devices.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a distribution/warehouse environment required.
Other Information:
Thursday - Saturday (alternating Wednesdays), 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
