Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. The Customer Service Rep is responsible for acting as a liaison between the customers and company. Assists customers with placing orders, shipments, questions, complaints and other queries. Processing order related paperwork in Epicor. Following up on outstanding orders and tracking activity in CRM. This is fully onsite in Wilmington, NC.
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor programs and projects as directed by the Operations Manager and see them through completion.
Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate.
Respond to questions and requests for information.
Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed.
Act as a liaison between the Sales Team, Customers and other departments.
Use both phone and email to contact customers and verify account and order information.
Send requests for purchase orders on outstanding orders and track activity in CRM.
Assist customers with placement of orders, credits or exchanges.
Accurately input customer and order information into the operating system.
Ensure that the correct items are shipped to the correct location and arrives in a timely manner.
Take and accurately record payment information and other pertinent information such as purchase order numbers and credit card information.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Education Requirements:
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
Desired Background/Skills:
Must have proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast paced office environment.
Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbally in person and on the phone and in writing, primarily through emails and memos.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
Must have superior organization skills and a dedication to completing projects on time.
Must have the ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules.
Must be able to work both individually and as part of a team.
Must be able to arrive on time to work on the designated work days and work through the scheduled end time.
