HR Generalist
Job Description:
The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of HR programs and policies for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance, interpretation and compliance of HR policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Understand and research nuances of state and local employment laws.
Provide guidance and mentoring for managers on HR/employment law best practices.
Responsible for onboarding all new hires and office acquisitions; ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Ensure all applicable new hire paperwork is received, completed and filed in Workday.
Work in tandem with the Talent Partner on pre-termination discussions with managers and planning for employee exits.
Provide HR representation during all termination meetings and assist the exiting employee with their offboarding.
Prepare reports required by law for federal and state agencies, such as the IRS, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners and other regulatory agencies.
Extract HRIS and workforce data reports from various HR systems, including Paycor, Workday, BambooHR, ADP, Gusto and Insperity.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree is required; preferably in Human Resource management or related field.
Professional HR designation (PHR or SHRM-CP) is preferred.

Qualifications:
3+ years of Human Resources experience is required.
Other Information:
Hybrid schedule.
30 to 40 hours per week.
Able to travel 30 minutes to 1 hour on average (as needed). We will pay for mileage.
